Sidemount Training at Eccleston Delph

Simon Fryer, an instructor for Burnley Sub Aqua Club, delivered part of the BSAC Twinset course to club member Katie Broadley.

Training was delivered at Eccleston Delph and consisted of two reasonably long dives (at least for this time of the year, considering the cold water). This was day 2 of the practical training and Katie completed all the required skills to Simon’s satisfaction.

So, there is just another theory session and a planned dive to complete and then the course will be complete. At that point, we’ll have another qualified side-mount diver!

Katie is really keen to progress and has a specific set of targets as she’s heading off to Scappa Flow later in the year.
