Trip to the Farne Islands. Attended by Katie (accompanied by super-keen photographer Yo-Han Cha of Manchester University Sub Aqua Club).
The weather was awesome and diving was conducted in luxury from a hard boat .As you can see, they had a playful seal encounter.
Yo-Han kindly posted a photo of Katie on the dive boat, seemingly all tied up and this was the source of much amusement within the club. She took the usual jibing – but we’ve all done it at one time, haven’t we?
On 18/19th August 2018, we’re taking our RIB – Pendle Witch – to the Farnes … Let’s hope for good weather, playful seals – they’ll certainly be time for some underwater photography. If things look really promising, we might even have a go at diving the wreck of the Somali.
